March – Member of the Month
Meet our March Member of the Month- Gina! She has been with us for many years, but hides out in the 5:30am class! Her husband Tony jokes around in our morning classes sometimes, but they are a great family and have been CFL supporters that we love and appreciate. Gina is a realtor here in Livermore. She is kind, outgoing, and religiously shows up in those cold morning hours!
When did you start CrossFit? 2012
What class do you frequent? 530am although pm classes are looking tempting these days
When is your birthday? January 31, 1973
If you could be a celebrity for a day, who would you be? Ellen Degeneres. She’s hilarious, smart, successful & fun.
What’s something you’re really good at, but sort of embarrassed that you are really good at it? Stretching lol
What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point? Pokemon and Star Wars
What is your favorite cheat meal? Nachos Supreme. Theres something about the supreme part that takes it over the top and I know I’ve cheated
List your three best personality traits: Dedicated, hard working and optimistic. I think every experience gives me the opportunity to learn and grow and good can come from it in even the most challenging times
List your three worst personality traits: I can get overly focused on what I’m doing, a bit OCD. Impatient. And… pretty set in my ways so I probably need to step out of my comfort zone…. and try the Star Wars dress up thing at least once

What does CFL mean to you?
CFL is a place where hard work, perseverance and fun come together with a great group of people. I really enjoy the motivation everyone brings because without it, I wouldn’t be doing these work outs on my own.There’s something about gearing up together and all working through it, its a challenge. There’s always opportunity to grow and get better. I love that it is always changing, while the people your there with are right there with you pushing and working along side of you each step of the way. It is a kick ass work out and I’m grateful to be a part of it!
