May – Member of the Month
We have chosen one of our longest members, Angie Banks, as our May Member of the Month! Sad for us but exciting for her, Angie is set to start her new relaxed life in Idaho this month. Angie has been with us since the old-old gym, back in 2012. She’s been a staple in our morning classes since we can remember. We’ve enjoyed life highs and lows with her, most notably her marriage a few years back to Jeff (who has been to just about every CFL party yet manages to skip most of the workouts.) She is always first to support and encourage others, has relentlessly worked around injuries, and will always hold a special place in our coaches hearts. Her presence in the morning classes will definitely be missed (she has always helped the coaches calm the chatter down, now we don’t know what we’ll do!) She has been an awesome part of our CFL community and an even better friend to have.

What does CFL mean to you?
How do I put this one into words?? Crossfit is my life, my second family, my mental health, my fitness, my passion. It’s what starts my day, gives me energy, and something that keeps me committed to fitness! I have so many new friends who I cherish and love. I have been so blessed to be a part of CFL and it’s a huge loss for me that I won’t be there everyday anymore. I will miss everyone and will always remember the amazing coaches who taught me so much and pushed me beyond what I thought was possible! Matt, Grace, Jess, and Dylan have been so impactful on my life. From the challenges to the daily WODs, I will miss the smiles as they open the large door so I don’t have to walk around to the front! . I am truly blessed and will always remember you all!
